Calibration Data and Measuring Distance
Very precise antenna calibration data (gain and antenna factor) can be obtained by using two equal antennas of the same type. A good antenna calibration result is independent from environmental influences (unwanted reflections). Environmental characteristics are not antenna specific and must not be included in calibration data, at least their influence must be minimized as good as possible.
