ETS-Lindgren, a provider of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radio Frequency (RF) Measurement Solutions, announced the release of the Model 3170 Intell-I-Tune™ Antenna Solution. Designed for radiated susceptibility applications, the Intell-I-Tune Antenna Solution provides a single antenna covering 30 MHz to 200 MHz, simplifying system setup and testing.
The Intell-I-Tune Antenna Solution covers a frequency range of 30 MHz to 200 MHz, allowing the Model 3170 to meet MIL-STD-461H requirements with a single antenna.
The antenna's beamwidth supports testing of small to large equipment under test (EUTs), while its efficiency enables 200 V/m with 2,500 W to 3,000 W. According to the company, the antenna also achieves 100 V/m with less than 1,000 W and 50 V/m with less than 300 W across the 30 MHz to 200 MHz frequency range.
The Model 3170 also includes features for low-frequency RS103 testing, including true resonance from 30 MHz to 200 MHz, 200 V/m at 1 m from the antenna, 25+ dB harmonic suppression, low standing wave ratio (SWR) performance with a typical value of 1.5:1, patented motorized auto-tuning, and automated operation through ETS-Lindgren's TILE™ software. According to the company, these features are intended to improve throughput, consistency, compliance, and testing efficiency.
