The TSE Mark is a voluntary product certification mark issued by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE). It indicates that a product complies with applicable Turkish Standards (TS) and allows the use of the TSE logo on the product or packaging. If a product already bears the CE mark, the TSE mark is optional and can serve as an additional quality symbol within Turkey.
For products not covered by a Turkish standard or CE marking, the TSEK Mark (Certificate of Conformity to TSE Criteria) may be applied, based on technical conditions recognized by TSE.
Turkey aligns with EMC Directive (2014/30/EU) and RED Directive (2014/53/EU) for products using harmonized frequencies. For equipment using non-harmonized frequencies, BTK type approval is required.
