TDK Corporation announced that it is exhibiting its latest solutions under its new brand identity and tagline “In Everything, Better” at electronica Shanghai, which is taking place from July 1 to 3, 2026 in Shanghai. TDK is showcasing a lineup of products and system-level solutions for the AI ecosystem, including solutions for automotive, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and industrial/energy fields.
Leveraging its expertise in materials science, passive components, sensors, power supplies, magnetic technologies, software, and AI, TDK is presenting its solutions in an integrated way.
AI and Physical AI
TDK is showcasing solutions for Physical AI, smart glasses, XR/AR/VR, human-machine interfaces, and intelligent sensing. The company is presenting smart glasses technologies designed to enable end-user devices capable of capturing their surroundings to deliver generative AI insights.
For human-machine interaction, TDK is presenting haptic feedback and control technologies, including haptic touch-based zoom control, a haptic glove experience, and motion-aware IMU solutions for XR/AR/VR, smart glasses, and wearables.
For robotics applications, TDK is exhibiting TMR sensors, MEMS IMUs, and NTC temperature sensors for thermal measurement.
In Industrial AI, TDK is presenting edge-intelligence-based condition monitoring and predictive maintenance solutions. The system combines industrial domain expertise with edge machine learning models to monitor vibration and thermal conditions for equipment monitoring and maintenance.
TDK is also exhibiting its compact ultrasonic sensor module, which integrates a transducer, driver, and signal processor into a compact package with mechanically isolated decoupling elements and EMC characteristics for industrial environments.
AI Data Center Power Solutions
To address computing and power requirements for AI data centers, TDK is presenting a "From grid to core" approach covering AI server power supply units (PSUs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), battery energy storage systems (BESS), solid-state transformers (SST), and point-of-load (POL) power delivery.
The display includes aluminum electrolytic snap-in capacitors, MKP DC-link film capacitors, SMD NTC thermistors, and a partner's 12 kW AI server PSU reference design using TDK components.
Automotive Electronics
TDK is showcasing products for electric drive systems, batteries, charging, thermal management, safety control, and smart cockpit applications. The display includes CeraLink capacitors, CarXield EMC filters, magnetic components for battery management systems (BMS), InsuGate transformers, and temperature, pressure, current, Hall, and TMR magnetic sensors.
Demonstrations also include Hall and TMR position sensors for braking and thermal management, along with MEMS IMUs for headlight leveling and vehicle stability control.
Industrial and Energy
For industrial, energy, and infrastructure applications, TDK is presenting products for EV fast charging and power supplies, including film capacitors, input protection devices, high-voltage contactors, AC-DC/AC-AC power supplies, and DC-DC power modules.
ICT and Smart Terminals
For smartphones, IoT devices, TWS earbuds, gaming peripherals, wearables, and assistive technology applications, TDK is exhibiting TMR sensors, MEMS microphones, and application solutions combining ToF sensing technology, motion sensors, and MEMS microphones.
EMC and Engineering Services
TDK is also showcasing its EMC solutions and engineering support services through its Shanghai C-PAC EMC Laboratory, providing EMC testing and remediation recommendations for automotive, industrial, AI data center, and high-power electronic systems.
