The AMP20153 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2 to 6 GHz. It delivers an output power of more than 400W, with a gain of more than 56 dB, has a gain-adjustment range of more than 20 dB and a power gain flatness of less than 4.0 dB p-p. It is based on the Class A/AB Linear design that offers high efficiency, with unprecedented reliability and ruggedness. It has spurious levels of less than –60 dBc, harmonics of –20 dBc. This amplifier has a 2-tone intermodulation distortion (IMD) of –30 dBc and an input return loss of less than –10 dB. 

The AMP20153 integrates built-in protection circuits and provides extensive monitoring of critical parameters such as VSWR, voltage, and current, all accessible via a local LCD. For remote operation and control, it supports multiple interfaces, including RJ-45, TCP/IP, RS-422/485, USB, and GPIB. The amplifier operates on an AC supply of 200 - 240 V, consuming less than 3000 W power. It is available in a 5U rack-mount module that measures 421 x 221 x 560 mm, with N-type female connectors. This amplifier is ideal for EMI/RFI testing, laboratory use, continuous wave (CW), pulse applications, and all communication applications.
