The AMP20144 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 2 to 4 GHz. It delivers a pulsed output power of more than 3.5 kW (pulse width < 100 µs, <6% duty cycle) with a gain of more than 66 dB with a power gain flatness of up to 2.0 dB p-p. It is based on a Class AB linear design, ensuring high efficiency, exceptional reliability, and rugged construction. This power amplifier has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. It has a return loss of less than 10 dB (input).  

The AMP20144 integrates built-in protection circuits and provides extensive monitoring of critical parameters such as VSWR, voltage, and current via a local LCD screen. This amplifier supports multiple flexible interfaces such as RJ-45, TCP/IP, RS-422/485, USB, and GPIB, facilitating remote control and configuration. It requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes less than 1500 W of power. This SSPA is available in an 8U rack-mount enclosure that measures 482 x 353 x 600 mm and has an N-type (female) connector at the input port & SC-type (female) connector at the output port. It is ideal for EMI/RFI testing, laboratory use, CW/pulse, and all communication applications.
