The AMP20009 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State EMC Power Amplifier that operates across the 1 to 4 GHz covering L and S bands. It delivers a nominal output power of 25 W with a gain of over 43 dB and a minimum gain adjustment range of 20 dB. This SSPA has a Class A/AB linear design that ensures high efficiency, exceptional reliability, and ruggedness. It has spurious levels of -60 dBc with harmonics of -20 dBc, and has a 2-tone intermodulation (IMD) of -30 dBc.

The AMP20009 integrates built-in protection circuits and extensive monitoring of critical parameters such as voltage, current, and VSWR, accessible via a local LCD display. For remote operation and control, it supports multiple interfaces, including Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485, USB, and GPIB. The amplifier requires an AC supply of 100–240 VAC, consumes less than 300 W. It is available in a 3U rack-mount module that measures 482 x 133 x 560 mm and has N-type female connectors.
