Vectawave Introduces 60W Broadband GaN Power Amplifier for 1–6 GHz Applications

Vectawave has introduced the VBA1060-60, a 60W broadband power amplifier covering 1000 to 6000 MHz and engineered for applications requiring mismatch-tolerant performance. The amplifier’s Class A design combined with GaN output stages and Vectawave’s Quadrature Hybrid combining techniques, delivers high efficiency across a wide frequency range.

Control options include front panel operation or remote access via Ethernet, USB, and GPIB interfaces. The digital interface system handles amplifier enable/disable, power level monitoring, power supply health, interlock management, and computer communication. Forward and reflected power sample ports are accessible from the rear panel.
