Rohde & Schwarz to Host Webinar on EMI Debugging and Pre-Compliance Measurement Techniques

Rohde & Schwarz will host a webinar on July 8, 2026, focused on simplifying electromagnetic interference (EMI) debugging and pre-compliance measurements for engineers involved in product development and EMC testing. The 45-minute session is scheduled for 2:00 PM Singapore Time and will be presented by Pasi Suhonen, Application Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz Finland.

The webinar will examine approaches for reducing the complexity and cost associated with EMI debugging and pre-compliance testing. Rohde & Schwarz will discuss methods for streamlining EMC workflows, improving measurement efficiency, and addressing common EMI challenges encountered during product development.

During the session, participants will learn about the EMC process and the tools commonly used for debugging and pre-compliance measurements. The webinar will also cover techniques for locating radiated emissions using near-field probes in combination with spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.

In addition, Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate conducted emissions pre-compliance measurement methods using spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes. A practical demonstration focused on conducted emissions measurements for a DC/DC buck converter will also be included.

The webinar will be led by Pasi Suhonen, who holds B.Eng and M.Eng degrees from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in telecommunications engineering and health technology. His experience in the test and measurement industry includes applications and sales support across the Nordic and Baltic regions, with a specialization in oscilloscope-based applications.

According to Rohde & Schwarz, the webinar is designed to provide engineers with practical guidance on identifying and resolving EMI issues while supporting compliance with regulatory standards through efficient pre-compliance measurement practices.
