The PAT20M from AFJ Instruments is a Pulse Limiter that operates from 9 kHz to 30 MHz. It is designed to protect the input stage of EMI receivers with an attenuation of 20 dB for pulse voltages up to 1 W. This pulse limiter can handle an input pulse energy with a pulse width of 500 μs and has a VSWR of 1.05:1 (input) & 1.15:1 (output). It has a low pass filter of up to 100 MHz and an attenuator that provides an attenuation of 20 dB. This pulse limiter is available in a module that measures 96 x 23 x 28 mm and has BNC-BNC, N-BNC, or N-N (female-male) connectors. It is ideal for protection against high voltage spikes which occur in measurements with LISNs.
