The DPL200M from The EMC Shop is a Transient Limiter that operates from DC to 200 MHz. It has a built-in 20 dB attenuator and a fuse lamp to protect equipment when measuring high-energy spectra. This limiter protects the receiver input from excessive disturbance levels of more than 100 dBµV, whilst smaller levels can pass with a fixed attenuation of 20 dB to the receiver input. It has an insertion loss of 10 dB and a voltage range of up to 100 dBuV without clipping. This transient limiter has N-type connectors and is ideal for conducted emissions measurements and spectrum analyzers for EMC testing applications.
