The 800W1000 from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 80 to 1000 MHz. It delivers an output power of more than 800 W (80 to 650 MHz) with a small signal gain of 64 dB and supports AM, FM or Pulsed modulation. This Class A-based SSPA has spurious levels of -73 dBc and harmonic distortion of less than -20 dBc. It includes protection against input overdrive beyond 0 dBm as well as a protection from various failure conditions including over-temperature and power supply faults. The low level of spurious levels and exhibits high linearity make it ideal for use as a driver in testing wireless communication components and subsystems.

The 800W1000 has a front panel display that indicates operational status and fault conditions and can be remotely controlled using GPIC/IEEE-488, RS-232, fiber-optic cable, USB or Ethernet interfaces. It is available in a 10 U-rack-mount enclosure that measures 48.3 x 44.5 x 65.3 cm with N-type (female) and 7-16 DIN (female) connectors and is ideal for 5G testing, EMC testing (aviation, military, automotive, commercial), radiated and conducted EMC testing, and general-purpose antenna, and component testing applications.

This amplifier requires an AC supply from 200 to 240 V and consumes less than 2500 W of power. It has an EAR99 export classification.
