The CNW 102/3 from REO-AG is a two-stage EMI/EMC filter designed for power electronics applications. It ensures reliable interference suppression according to EN 55011, Class B, and EN 61800-3, Category C1 standards, making it well-suited for direct mounting inside the housings of interference sources due to its compact dimensions and excellent attenuation in a two-stage configuration. The filter is available in various versions, including models with low leakage current and options for medical use, which are designed without Y-capacitors to cater to specialized applications. Its two-stage architecture delivers high attenuation across a broad frequency range, making it ideal for switch-mode power supplies, frequency converters, medical devices, as well as telecommunications and DC applications.
The CNW 102/3 measures 50 mm × 5.3 mm × 40 mm, with lengths of 87 mm and 75 mm for L1 and L2, respectively. Flat plug connections (6.3 × 0.8 mm) facilitate integration directly at the interference source, including inside equipment housings. It has a maximum rated voltage of 250 V and a rated current of 3 A, with leakage current under 3.5 mA. Electromagnetic performance is further defined by a capacitance of 0.94 &muF (Cx) and 20 nF (Cy), an inductance of 13.6 mH, and a resistance of 560 k&Omega, as well as a PE path resistance (L3) of 65 k&Omega. The filter&rsquos chassis-mount design, compliance with prominent EMC standards, and compact size&mdashapproximately 3.43 × 1.97 × 1.57 inches&mdashmake it a versatile solution for demanding industrial and medical environments.
