The EVA18000 from CR Technology, Inc. is an EMI Absorber that covers a frequency range of 100 MHz to 3 GHz. It is made of a material composed of magnetic fillers dispersed throughout a polymer resin blend, providing high permeability of 180 μ’@1 MHz compliant with the IEC 62044-1:2002 standard. This absorber has a surface resistance of more than 1.6 x 106 Ω/inch², compliant with the ASTM D257 standard, and can operate over a temperature range of -25 to 120 °C. It is super-thin, with a thickness of 0.006 or 0.1 mm, and is very flexible, with dynamic performance when space is limited. This absorber is available with a special non-conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive and can be cut to various shapes or custom drawings with a removable release liner. It is ideal for consumer electronics, mobile phones, wireless charging, tablets/computers, RFID, and cable wrap applications.
