ETS-Lindgren Highlights Technical Expertise and Research Contributions at AMTA 2025712370

ETS-Lindgren has announced its participation and technical contributions to AMTA 2025, the Annual Meeting and Symposium of the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA). The event, hosted by Raytheon, an RTX business, will take place from November 2–7, 2025, at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona. As a Bronze Sponsor, ETS-Lindgren will present a range of technical papers, demonstrations, and training sessions covering RF and microwave test and measurement system solutions.

The company’s participation begins with the popular “Boot Camp” on Sunday, November 2, a full-day program focusing on the fundamentals of RF and antenna measurements. Zhong Chen, Chief Engineer at ETS-Lindgren, will lead the session “EMI/EMC Measurements”, featuring live demonstrations.

Janet O’Neil, Customer Relations Manager at ETS-Lindgren, will speak at the inaugural Young Professionals event on Tuesday, November 4, and host the Women in Engineering Reception on Thursday, November 6, both from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

“I’m excited to be part of the first-ever Young Professionals event,” said Ms. O’Neil. “It promises to be both entertaining and educational, with AMTA experts and newcomers teaming up for a Jeopardy-style competition. For the Women in Engineering event, we’ve planned another inspiring program featuring Colonel Carey ‘Mamba’ Jones, US Air Force (Ret.), and Roger Richardson, Delta Sigma Company, who will speak on innovation, leadership, and teamwork. Attendees will enjoy valuable networking opportunities at these events.”

ETS-Lindgren will present two research papers on Wednesday, November 5, during Session 13: Imaging, Algorithms, and Processing Techniques (3:00–5:40 p.m.).

  •  3:20–3:40 p.m.: “A Novel Method for Anechoic Chamber Evaluation Using Convenient Circular Movement and Modal Analysis in Place of Linear Scanning” – presented by Yibo Wang, PhD, Senior RF Engineer, co-authored with Zhong Chen and Garret McKerricher, RF Engineer II.
  • 3:40–4:00 p.m.: “A Numerical Investigation of the Application of Compressed Sensing in Spherical Mode Filtering for Near- or Far-Field Antenna Measurements” – presented by Zhong Chen, co-authored with Stuart Gregson (Queen Mary University of London / Next Phase Measurements), Dr. Wang, and Rostyslav F. Dubrovka (Queen Mary University of London).

Dr. Wang also serves on the AMTA 2025 Technical Program Committee, where he reviewed submitted papers and will chair Session 17: Range Design, Instrumentation, and Characterization on Thursday, November 6, from 3:00–4:40 p.m.

“This year’s AMTA Symposium is especially meaningful for ETS-Lindgren,” said Joel Kellogg, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing with ETS-Lindgren. “We’re honored to host AMTA’s 48th Annual Meeting and Symposium in Austin, Texas, from November 1 to  6, 2026. Justin Dobbins and the AMTA 2025 Host Committee have done an outstanding job organizing this year’s event, setting a high bar for us to meet next year.” Mr. Kellogg will serve as Chair of the AMTA 2026 Host Committee.

ETS-Lindgren will exhibit in Booth #103 during the AMTA Exhibition, held November 3–5, showcasing its latest RF and microwave test and measurement solutions. Featured products include the Extra-High Performance Microwave Absorber, Model 3164-08 Open-Boundary Quad-Ridged Horn Antenna, and the Model 3165-05 Absorber Nested Dual-Polarized, Dual-Vivaldi Array Antenna.
