CSA Group Opens Advanced EMC Testing Laboratory in Kunshan to Support Global Market Access

CSA Group has announced the grand opening of its state-of-the-art electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) laboratory in Plainvim International Industrial Park in Kunshan, China. This cutting-edge facility will enable CSA Group to perform EMC testing of medical devices, industrial equipment, home and commercial appliances, electrical equipment for measurement control and laboratory use, consumer products, automotive products, and others, helping manufacturers gain access to global markets.

Advanced Testing Capabilities for Reliable EMC and Radio Testing and Certification

Equipped with the latest tools and technology, the new laboratory will provide local manufacturers with reliable EMC and radio testing and certification. Key capabilities and testing facilities include: 

• 10m chamber and 3m chamber, with emission testing up to 40 GHz
• Large anechoic chambers with a 6-meter turntable
• Dual antenna test system
• Support for main wireless testing, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, remote control systems, ultra-wideband (UWB), radio frequency identification (RFID), ZigBee, NFC, LoRa, SRD

CSA Group’s new EMC lab is situated in CSA Group’s existing laboratory in Kunshan which was established in October 2024 to meet China’s growing demand for high-quality testing in the renewable energy and technology sectors.

To commemorate this significant milestone, CSA Group and its joint venture partner, CCIC Group, came together for a ribbon-cutting ceremony witnessed by over 100 attendees. The event featured presentations, video displays, and live tours of the laboratory, providing guests with an in-depth understanding of our new facility’s capabilities and CSA Group’s expertise.
