The ML2439A from Anritsu is a Quad-Channel RF Power Meter that covers a frequency range of 10 MHz to 50 GHz. It is designed to accept input from Anritsu’s USB power sensors and measure, process, and display peak/average (CW and RMS) power values of RF signals. This power meter has a video bandwidth of 195 MHz, allowing it to capture and measure the RF power of very narrow pulse-modulated and wideband periodic-modulated signals. It has a power measurement range from -60 dBm to +20 dBm, depending on the sensor used. This power meter supports peak power sensors, CW sensors, and true RMS sensors.
The ML2439A power meter can be triggered in normal, auto, auto pk-pk, and free-run modes. It has a 5-inch WVGA multi-touchscreen with continuous, pulse, and statistical measurement display modes and supports two different display formats – graph (power vs. time or CCDF) and text (numeric display). This RF power meter can be controlled remotely via GPIB and Ethernet interfaces and also integrates a 50 MHz test-source output on the front panel for easy calibration. It is available in a benchtop enclosure that measures 89 x 211 x 284 mm. This power meter is ideal as a power measurement device in compliance test labs, calibration labs & metrology labs, for design, verification, testing & maintenance of radars, power measurements in production of wireless communication equipment and devices such as Wi-Fi/BT, 4G/5G, WiMAX, RMS and CW power measurements and EMC radiated immunity measurements.
