The AMP20130 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 80 to 1000 MHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 1300 W (CW) with a power gain of over 61 dB and a gain flatness of less than 4 dB p-p. This power amplifier is based on a Class A/AB linear design equipped with high-power advanced technology devices, thereby resulting in high efficiency. It has spurious levels of up to -60 dBc and harmonic levels of less than -20 dBc. This amplifier has a 2-tone intermodulation of -20 dBc and an input return loss of -10 dB.

The AMP20130 consists of protection circuitries with extensive monitoring capabilities of parameters, including voltage, current, VSWR, and power, offering unprecedented reliability and ruggedness. This SSPA can either be manually controlled via a local LCD panel or using remote flexible interfaces such as Ethernet RJ-45, RS422/485, and USB. It requires a 3-phase AC supply of 120/208 V and consumes 8 kW of power. This power amplifier is available in a 7U rack-mount enclosure measuring 480 x 800 x 400 mm and has an N-type (female) connector for the input port & a 7/16 DIN connector for the output port. It is ideal for EMI/RFI, labs, CW/Pulse, and other communication applications.
