The AMP20090 from Exodus Advanced Communications is an EMC Solid-State Pulsed Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1.0 to 2.5 GHz. It delivers a peak pulsed output power of more than 8 kW with a power gain of more than 69 dB. This SSPA has a power gain flatness of less than 5.0 dB p-p and a gain adjustment range of more than 20 dB. It has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc, harmonics of better than -20 dBc, and an input return loss of -10 dB.  

The AMP20090 is based on advanced Class A/AB linear GaN devices that achieve high efficiency with exceptional reliability and ruggedness. It has built-in protection circuitry that provides extensive monitoring capabilities for all performance parameters of the amplifier. This amplifier can be controlled locally via an LCD or remotely via a GPIB IEEE-488 interface. It requires a single or three-phase AC supply of 200-240 V and consumes less than 4000 W of power. This power amplifier is available in an 18 U rack-mount enclosure and has a Type-N (female) connector at the input and an SC or 7-16 (female) connector at the output side. It is ideal for EMI/RFI, labs, and HIRF/Pulse applications.
