The AMP20005 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 18 to 40 GHz. It delivers a saturated CW output power of more than 30 W with a power gain of more than 44 dB and has a gain adjustment range of 20 dB.  This amplifier has a 2-tone intermodulation of -30 dBc and an input return loss of less than -10 dB. It has harmonic levels of less than -20 dBc and spurious emissions below -60 dBc. This SSPA has a Class A/AB linear design and built-in protection circuits with extensive monitoring of operational parameters. 

The AMP20005 requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes less than 800 W of power. It can be controlled via Ethernet RJ-45, RS422/485, USB, and GPIB interfaces. This power amplifier is available in a 3U rack-mount enclosure measuring 430 x 133 x 750 mm with 2.92 mm (female) connectors at the sample & input port and a WRD180 waveguide interface at the output port. It is ideal for EMI/RFI testing, laboratory use, CW/Pulse applications, and various communication systems.
