The HT65 from DMAS is an EMC Closed-Cell, Carbon-Loaded Polystyrene Absorber for use in semi-anechoic chambers. It operates in a frequency range from 10 MHz to 40 GHz and has superior electromagnetic absorption when combined with matching ferrite tiles with a power handling capability of up to 500 V/m. This absorber has a modular design consisting of pyramid tapers and a 1200 mm × 600 mm × 100 mm baseplate, with a total height of 650 mm. It allows for easy installation and replacement, using plastic mounting strips and screws without the need for adhesives. The HT45 complies with international standards, including REACH, RoHS, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001, ensuring both environmental safety and high-quality manufacturing.
The HT65 is ideal for validating EMC chambers and is suited for radiated immunity testing according to IEC/EN 61000-4-3 standards. It is designed to work in combination with ferrite floor absorbers, enhancing performance for full compliance testing. This has a closed-cell structure that prevents carbon particle leakage, maintaining a clean testing environment. White end caps are available to protect the absorber tips and improve light reflection inside the chamber. It is compliant with internationally recognized fire-retardant standards like ISO 11925-2 class E, UL94-HBF, DIN 4102-1 class B2, and ISO 4589-2.
