The UCC from FRANKONIA is a compact pre-compliant semi-anechoic chamber that operates from 150 kHz/26 MHz to 18 GHz. It is designed for pre-compliance radiated emission and immunity tests, conducted tests, and pre-compliance testing of automotive components. This semi-anechoic chamber has a 1.0 m measuring distance in accordance with the CISPR 25 method (as an alternative to a GTEM cell). It has a Frankosorb® optimized hybrid absorber lining with F006 ferrite and H450 materials and incorporates high-performance nano thin-film technology for long-term stability. These absorbers are non-combustible in accordance with DIN EN 13501-1 class A2-s1 d0 and are also available in a hardly inflammable version compliant with DIN EN 13501-1 class B standards.

The UCC has a compact footprint of 4.280 × 3.080 × 2.550 mm and includes a dedicated setup table. It supports pre-compliant emission (EMI) measurements according to CISPR 25 Ed.5 and pre-compliant immunity (EMS) measurements in line with ISO 11452, making it a flexible solution for automotive EMC development and validation.
