The GSP-8180 from Good Will Instrument Co., Ltd. (GW Instek) is a Spectrum Analyzer that operates from 9 kHz to 1.8 GHz. It is a general-purpose spectrum analyzer designed to provide wideband spectrum analysis for various test and measurement environments. This spectrum analyzer has a pre-amplifier along with an optional EMI filter and a tracking generator that improve spectral purity over the frequency range. It supports both continuous and single sweep mode and has a sweep time of 10 ms to 3000 s. This spectrum analyzer has a resolution bandwidth of 1 Hz to 1 MHz and a frequency resolution of 1 Hz. It has a DANL of -160 dBm/Hz and an SSB phase noise of less than -104 dBc/Hz (at 10 kHz offset).
The GSP-8180 provides multiple measurement capabilities such as the built-in time spec function to observe correlation, AM/FM demodulation function, ACPR/OCBW/CHPW analysis to test adjacent channels, and pass/fail function to determine whether the signal is within the set range. This analyzer has a 10.4-inch TFT LCD screen for observation of test signals. This system can be remotely controlled via USB and LAN interfaces. It requires an AC supply of 100 to 240 V and consumes 28 W of power. This spectrum analyzer is available in a benchtop enclosure measuring 421 x 221 x 115 mm and has an N-type (female) connector.
