The RWI S6 from EMCSOSiN is a Programmable Ring Wave Generator (RWG) that operates at 100 kHz. It is designed to evaluate the performance of electrical and electronic equipments, devices, and systems subjected to ring waves. This generator tests and evaluates the performance as per IEC 61000-4-12 and GB/T 17626-12 standards. It incorporates a coupling/decoupling network. This RWG can generate signals in different formats – positive, negative, and alternating. It provides an output voltage of 0.2 kV to 6 kV. It has a rise time of less than 1 µs, a pulse repetition rate of 1/10 s, and a pulse interval of 10 to 9999 s. 

The RWI S6 integrates a 7-inch user-friendly touch panel display that allows configuration of parameters. This ring wave generator also incorporates a self-test program to facilitate diagnostics and ensure high reliability. It can be controlled remotely through a desktop PC using RS232 and USB interfaces. This ring wave generator requires an AC supply of 220 V. This system is available in a benchtop enclosure.
