The R&S TS9981A from Rohde & Schwarz is a Radiated Immunity Test System that operates from 200 MHz to 6 GHz (lower frequency up to 80 MHz available). It is designed for testing RF components inside vehicles as per the ISO 1142-2 standard. This test system is based on a modular design and consists of a signal generator, broadband amplifier systems, an immunity antenna set, a field monitoring system, RMS/peak power meter, and an antenna mast. It supports various modulation schemes, including CW, AM, FM, and user-specified techniques. This system has a field strength range of up to 600 V/m and a test distance of 1 m. 

The R&S TS9981A uses R&S ELEKTRA test system software for configuration and control of test parameters. This immunity test system can also integrate R&S AdVISE visual EUT monitoring system to facilitate visual inspection of the tested device. The system is available in a rack-mount enclosure and is ideal for automotive EMC testing applications.
