The ER8000 from Narda Safety Test Solutions is an EMI Receiver that operates from 9 kHz to 30 MHz. It is designed for conducted & radiated emission tests and is compliant with CISPR 16-1-1, MIL-STD-461, ANSI C63.2, and FCC standards. This receiver combines the functionalities of an EMI test receiver and a spectrum analyzer. It supports direct analog to digital conversion up to 30 MHz, while its gapless FFT operation and fast measuring time of less than 400 ms (analyzer mode) & 320 s (sweep mode) enable efficient testing processes. This receiver can handle an input level of up to 140 dBµV (2 W) and has an input VSWR of less than 2.0:1. It provides an attenuation of up to 45 dB and has a DANL of less than <-27 dBμV. This EMI receiver supports Manual, spectrum analyzer & sweep modes, Standard and user definable limits, Conversion & correction factors, Control of DDA (Click) analyser, LISNs & other accessories, Auto diagnosis and Test reporting measurement functions.  

The ER8000 EMI receiver includes a front end with an efficient preselector and two-stage preamplifier for lower noise or lower saturation and improved performance. It has a built-in 16 A LISN (Line Impedance Stabilization Network) in a compact setup to perform conducted emission measurement tests and characterize EUTs quickly and effectively. This receiver also has a user port, which enables seamless integration with external LISNs and ancillaries for enhanced testing capabilities. It requires an AC supply of 250-350 V and can be controlled via USB 2.0 type B, RS-232 DB9, and user port DB15 interfaces. This EMI receiver is available in an enclosure that measures 235 x 105 x 300 mm and is ideal for all EMI applications.
