The EMScanner+ from YIC Technologies is an EMC/EMI Scanner that covers the frequency range of 150 kHz to 6 GHz. It consists of a patented scanner and compact adaptor featuring an internal BB60C spectrum analyzer from Signal Hound. This system provides pre- and post-EMC compliance testing, delivering real-time emissions data without the need for an external spectrum analyzer. It has a 42 x 29 antenna array of 1218 H-field probes that provide a spatial resolution of 7.5 mm over a scan area of 31.6 cm x 21.8 cm. This scanner has a spectral scan time of 45 s for a 10 x 10 cm PCB with a 100 MHz span and 100 kHz RBW. It has a DANl of less than -158 dBm/Hz and a measurement plane isolation of more than 20 dB. 

The EMScanner+ supports continuous real-time or sub-second single scan for the entire scan area and has spectral scan, spatial scan, peak-hold, continuous scanning, spectral and spatial comparison, scripting, limit lines, and report generation capabilities. It enables early-stage pre-testing, allowing designers to address EMC and EMI issues before formal compliance testing, thereby avoiding unexpected failures. This scanner can be controlled via a USB interface and is available in an anodized non-conductive metal enclosure that measures 31.6 cm x 21.8 cm.
