The MAX-9 from Frankonia Germany EMC Solutions GmbH is an EMC Antenna that operates from 600 MHz to 10.5 GHz. It delivers an isotropic gain of 10.3 dBi and has an antenna factor of 18-41 dB/m. This stacked logarithmic-periodic antenna can handle up to 300 W of power and has a front-to-back ratio of more than 25 dB with an SWR of less than 1.5:1. It has a cross-polarization rejection of more than 30 dB and a half-power beamwidth of 46° and 48°in E- and H-plane, respectively. This antenna has a low-loss plastic cover for protection against damage and is especially suitable for immunity testing according to IEC 61000-4-3 because of its good field uniformity. It is available in a laser-cut brass structure that measures 460 x 270 x 270 mm and can be mounted on a Ø22 mm mounting tube. This antenna is ideal for radiated immunity tests and emission measurement applications in the microwave frequency range.
