The IEEE EMC Society has come together for the largest EMC event of the year- the EMC+SIPI 2023 - to be held from July 31st to August 4th at Devos Place Convention Center, Grand Rapids, Michigan. EMC+SIPI 2023 leads the industry in providing state-of-the-art education on EMC and Signal Integrity and Power Integrity techniques.

"It was wonderful seeing so many of you in person (finally!) during the Spokane symposium. As we now move forward on the plans for next year’s event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the IEEE EMC Society, is looking forward to having you join us from July 31 to August 4, 2023." says Mark Steffka, General Chair, 2023 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Signal & Power Integrity (EMC+SIPI). He adds- "The success of this year’s symposium events and activities demonstrated that even though it was a time period of 3 years from the last in-person event (2019) to this year’s, we were able to carry on with much of the things that our symposiums have been able to deliver and we were able to establish new initiatives that we believe can serve us in the future."

"This year’s Symposium will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Grand Rapids industries include an array of Medical and Automotive Technologies as well as being known as “Furniture City”- says Gene Saltzberg, University of Detroit Mercy, EMC+SIPI 2023 Technical Program Chair.

The IEEE EMC Society is seeking original, unpublished papers covering all aspects of EMC and technologies that are affected by EMC.

  • Automotive Electrification
  • Autonomous Driving
  • EV Conductive and Wireless Charging
  • Medical Devices
  • Intentional EMI
  • Cybersecurity.

Special Sessions are unique, dedicated sessions that can be created by working with the Technical Committee. Abstract-Reviewed Papers are ways an author can share their work in addition to Traditional Papers. This allows Authors to present their work without the burden of writing a full manuscript. Abstract-Reviewed Papers require an extended abstract. Poster Papers are an option for Authors wishing to informally present their work in an interactive environment. Workshops & Tutorials are an option for authors covering a fundamental topic, a complex project, or a large dataset. Presentation proposals are submitted instead of a journal paper. Experiments & Demonstrations are for contributors who prefer to share their work as live experiments or demonstrations.

  • March 6, 2023: Abstract-Reviewed Papers, Workshops & Tutorial, Experiments & Demonstrations Proposals Submission Deadline
  • March 20, 2023: Revised Traditional and Special Session Paper Submission Deadline
  • April 14, 2023: Notification of Acceptance/Rejection for Workshops & Tutorials, Experiments & Demonstrations
