The R&S®SGS100A from Rohde & Schwarz is an EMI Signal Generator that operates from 80 MHz to 12.75 GHz (I/Q mode) and 1 MHz to 12.75 GHz (CW Mode). It can generate microwave signals with extremely low close-in SSB phase noise, enabling radar systems to detect even very slow objects. In automated production environments, the R&S®SGS100A generator's ultra-high output power eliminates the need for additional amplifiers while keeping harmonics extremely low. It has optional pulse modulation capability and internal pulse generator, high-stability reference oscillator and coherent LO input/output 

The R&S®SGS100A has low SSB phase noise of -133 dBc at an offset of 20 kHz in the base unit. It requires AC supply and consumes 70 W power. It supports Ethernet (TCP/IP) 10/100/1000BaseT and USB 2.0 system interfaces. It covers all fields of application, from research and development to production, service and maintenance.
