The FN2500 from Schaffner is a Single-Phase EMC/EMI Filter that is designed for applications in data centers, robotics and audio/video equipment. It meets the requirements of international standards, such as IEC/EN 62040-1 for uninterruptible power systems (UPS), IEC 62368-1 for audio/video, information, and communication technology equipment and IEC/EN 60335-1 for household and similar appliances. This filter has a rated operating voltage of 277 V (AC) and 400 V (DC) and rated currents from 10 to 32 A (at 50°C). It can withstand a surge of 4 kV Ph-PE (Level 4) and has an overload capacity of 1.5x rated current for 1 minute once per hour. The filter is certified to UL/IEC 60939-3, CSA 22.2 No. 8-13 and GB/T 15287 standards and has an IP00/IP20 protection category.

The FN2500 is available in a module that fits in a 1-height unit of a 19" rack, ensuring efficient use of space in rack-mounted setups. It has an operating temperature range of -40° to +100°C.
