The HyperLOG® 20300 EMI from Aaronia AG is an EMC/EMI Pre-Compliance Antenna that operates from 20 MHz to 3 GHz. It combines the capabilities of a biconical as well as a log-periodic antenna to minimize measurement error rates. This antenna provides a gain of 8 dBi and has a VSWR of less than 2:1. This antenna has 297 calibration points (10 MHz steps) with an accuracy of 0.3 dB and can be used as a broadcasting antenna for up to 310 W (AM). Since only one antenna is used for the complete frequency range, it eliminates common EMI and EMC measurement error rates which show up by switching between different test antennas.
The HyperLOG® 20300 EMI weighs 6.5 kg and can be used with any brand of spectrum analyzer. It is available in an enclosure measuring 1300 x 1170 x 595 mm and is suitable for immunity testing/measurement applications where the field strength is generally more than 10V/m.
