The IECEE CB Scheme (Certification Body Scheme) is an international system for mutual recognition of electrical safety test reports and certificates for electronic and electrical products. It is based on IEC standards, allowing manufacturers to use a single set of test results to support certification in multiple participating countries.

The certification process involves product testing for electrical safety, including parameters such as insulation resistance, dielectric strength, temperature rise, leakage current, grounding continuity, and protection against electric shock. Testing is performed according to relevant IEC standards (such as IEC 60950, IEC 62368, IEC 61010, etc.), depending on the product category.

A CB Test Certificate and CB Test Report are issued by an authorized Certification Body (NCB) after successful evaluation. These documents can then be used to obtain national certifications (such as CE, UL, BIS, or others) with minimal additional testing, although local deviations may still apply.
