The L1-500 from Narda Safety Test Solutions is a Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) that operates from 9 kHz to 30 MHz. It complies with CISPR 16-1-2, VDE 0876, FCC Part 15, and MIL-STD- 461 F standards. This system consists of a 250 µH coil and a built-in cooling fan. It can also be stacked with up to 4 units in a wheeled rack configuration for flexibility. This LISN system can be used to couple the measuring receiver to the disturbance signal generated by Equipments Under Test (EUTs) and decouple the receiver from unwanted RF signals carried by power lines. It provides an output current of 300 A (continuous) and 500 A (for 20 min.).
The L1-500 uses reference impedance values and phase responses to conduct accurate and repeatable measurements of disturbance voltage that EUTs may inject into the power mains. This system requires an AC supply of up to 400 V and a DC supply of 565 V. It is available in a rack-mount enclosure that measures 510 x 175 x 830 mm. This LISN system is ideal for flexible EMC test and measurement applications.
